Three suspects arrested, a man stabbed outside a Salford gym.
Two were released as part of the investigation and no further action will be taken against the third, GMP confirmed.
Police were called to Regents Park on Ordsall Lane at around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday evening (June 8) for reports of a knife stab.
The victim was attacked outside the JD Gym after an argument with several men jumping out of a vehicle.
Members of the gym then helped the victim inside before police and paramedics got in.
The victim, in her mid-twenties, has no gym affiliation and wasn’t a patron either.
The Manchester Evening News knows he is being hospitalized for a number of injuries to his arm, shoulder and back.
His injuries are severe but not life threatening.

A police line remained in place on Tuesday evening, with part of the parking lot in front of the JD Gym being cordoned off.
The shopping park near Manchester city center is on the main road to the M602 / M62 / and M60 motorways.

Research by detectives at CID Salford has revealed that the victim was involved in an argument with four men who got out of a black Seat Leon and then attacked him.
The vehicle was later traced to an address in Moss Side and confiscated.
Two men, aged 18 and 19, were later arrested and taken into custody for questioning on suspicion of Section 18 assault.
The investigation is still ongoing and investigators are calling on anyone in the area who may have information or dashcam footage from the time of the attack to come forward.
Detective Inspector Thomas Willis of the Salford Criminal Investigation Department said: “We are still conducting an extensive investigation and we continue to urge the public to contact us for any reports on what they saw last night. since we know that this will be the case, there have already been a lot of people in the area.
“If you have a dashcam please check for footage showing the incident itself or showing a black Seat Leon with a 64 plate that may have been in the area at the time.”
