Neighbors flocked to support a family who “lost pretty much everything” after their house burned out in a fire over the weekend.
Homes along Park Avenue in Salford were evacuated when fire fighters battled a fire that spread from one property to neighboring homes.
Five fire engines rushed to the scene of the crime at around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday (June 27), while police, volunteer Hatzola medics and the Shomrim Community Guard were also present.

Higher Broughton residents were quick to offer assistance after the fire broke out in the family home on George Street South.
A family friend who wanted to remain anonymous told the Manchester Evening News: “We came when it was already happening. We had a call from a friend who told us there was a fire.
“We were all out there just trying to see what we can do to help. You pretty much lost everything.
“We all gathered together and offered them support, food, clothing, shelter, and just plain emotional support.
“They are fine, they just need to recover. Thank god there were no injuries, but they are everywhere, they have to get their lives back on track.”
Neighbors who saw the fire told MEN of their relief that the residents were able to escape the fire unharmed.
The fire spread to the roof of one of the houses on Park Avenue before spreading to neighboring properties.
Mr Steinhart was one of the neighbors who had to leave his house while the crews fought the fire that damaged his roof.
He said, “The fire rose on the roof and went over. Everyone was safe for the goodness of God.
“There was a deluge of help from neighbors and people who were much further away, which was overwhelming and inspiring.”

Michelle Hutcheon, who lives near the crime scene, watched firefighters fight the fire behind the houses on Park Avenue.
They stayed at the scene for six hours.
Michelle said, “I just saw black smoke and children by the window.
“One of the officers told me he thought it was an electric fire that had spread across a curtain.
“Nobody was hurt. There are children in the house, but they all got out. It was terrifying.”
The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) believes it is an accident.
A GMFRS spokesman said: “Just after 2:45 pm on Sunday June 27th, firefighters were called to a fire that involved several homes on George Street South in Salford.
“Five fire engines from across the Greater Manchester area as well as a breathing apparatus, a command unit and a turntable ladder arrived quickly.
“The crews used two cover nozzles, two hose reels and four breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. The crews were on duty for around six hours.
“Yesterday afternoon and evening, a member of the GMFRS fire investigation team conducted an investigation and found the most likely cause to be an accident.”
