City Social: Chris Kamara returns as Bantams fall to Salford

Not even a visit from former boss Chris Kamara could get Bradford City out of the slump as another ex-manager took the points away last night.

The Sky Sports channel was on the Valley Parade last night, but it was Salford City boss Gary Bowyer who made a successful return.

A late goal from Ian Henderson sentenced the Bantams to a fifth straight defeat.

Here are some views from Bantams fans on social media after last night’s loss:

😉 | Nice to see a former # BCAFC manager at @ UtilitaEnergy Stadium tonight …

🖼🤝 | @chris_kammy is on @SkySports’ service tonight – and we presented him with a framed picture of @wembleystadium in 1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣6️⃣ where he led us to promote! #CityForAll pic.twitter.com/MgIW2yAP5Y

So next we have Scunthorpe, honestly, if we don’t win convincingly that game questions need to be asked, a win in seventeen for them, wonder who that was against #bcafc

It’s over-cautious, low-risk football, especially at home, that lets T / S down. The fans won’t take this approach, it’s great, but at VP they expect the team to attack and the opposition to take care of us. A busy summer is ahead and a rethink is required for the home games #bcafc

5 losses in a row. Thank goodness there are only 2 games left #bcafc pic.twitter.com/4GdwGSW96a

Think we should have VAR in @SkyBetLeagueTwo #bcafc

The fans forget that we were bottom of the table 5 months ago. Be careful what you want #bcafc for
