About £ 130,000 worth of weeds were found in a car stopped by police officers in Salford.
Officials discovered a suspicious-looking white Ford Focus on Langworthy Road on February 7th last year, Manchester Crown Court heard.
After 36-year-old Spencer Candland stopped the car in front of a house on Southgarth Road, he got out.
The police found several vacuum-sealed bags of cannabis weighing a total of 13 kg. It is estimated that the street value of the drugs was approximately £ 130,000.
The house Candland visited was owned by Tony Partington, 30.
His house was searched by the police who then found another 2 kg of cannabis.

GMP Salford District Detective Sergeant Daniel Worthington said, “Yesterday was the latest in a series of really positive beliefs following the hard work of the Operation Naseby team over the past 12 months.
“Partington and Candland are unscrupulous individuals who owned cannabis in order to supply and make illicit profits.
“Drugs themselves negatively affect society, but drug trafficking is a big part of the way organized crime groups operate and responding to any information we have about them is an absolute priority of ours to address those involved in criminal enterprise. “
